About Coastal Craftsmen

Our focus is to provide our clients a truly personal homebuilding experience from concept, to design, through construction, and after construction service.

Our goal is to make the construction process as transparent as possible, so you never feel like you are in the dark. We do this by providing constant communication throughout the construction build.

Our approach is fairly simple: Do whatever is in the best interest of the client, and refuse to do anything that is contrary to that principle. We consider ourselves your personal concierge through the whole construction process.

Wayne Yowell Coastal Craftsmen Homes.jpg

Wayne Yowell
Wayne began his construction career in 1978 as a general carpenter in Cape Coral and quickly advanced to trim carpentry, followed by an apprenticeship to become a tile, stone, and marble installation mechanic. That journey ultimately led him to operate his own flooring business.

From designing full-blown kitchen and bathroom remodels, to orchestrating all phases of large-scale commercial interior finish work, Wayne has an eye for details and the experience that brings confidence to your project.

Working as a job site interior superintendent for multimillion-dollar construction companies, Wayne has helped oversee large-scale projects around the U.S., including construction for the Atlanta International Airport, Florida Department of Transportation, major national restaurant chains, and luxury hotels (Ritz Carlton and The Registry).

He is an active community supporter, participating in the Edison Pageant of Lights parade and collecting Toys for Tots. Wayne has served on the board of directors of the Connie Mack Allie Schmidt Circus Saints and Sinners, and was the past President of the Next Generation of the German American Social Club. He has also been a member of the Moose, Son of the American Legion, and First Cape Coral United Methodist Church—where he and his wife Alicia were married.

Wayne loves the outdoors and is an avid Miami Dolphins “dolfan.” His love of football goes way back to High School where he earned an NCAA full-ride contract to Ohio University. Go! Bobcats.
